Welcome!

Hello! I’m Mrs. Newman and I can say, without a doubt, that I love teaching Chemistry.

I was extremely fortunate to have two of the most extraordinary Chemistry teachers in high school. They brought the subject to life and made learning so incredibly enjoyable. So much so that they inspired me to continue to study the subject in college and maybe even teach it myself one day.

While I attended Stockton University, I earned a degree in Chemistry, a second degree in Education, and my NJ Teaching Certificate.

I have been teaching Chemistry ever since.

For the last 15+ years, I have been lucky enough to help hundreds of outstanding students in the classroom, and beyond, to achieve success with this difficult subject. I have taught and tutored all levels of high school Chemistry, including AP Chemistry, and even college level general Chemistry.

It is one of my greatest wishes that students are able to enjoy learning Chemistry, find an appreciation for the subject’s wonders, and feel a sense of accomplishment with putting forth their very best effort to understand such challenging concepts.
